Description: 4 storey flat development (24 units) Voted for: Cr Kim Appleby, Bala Balendra, Mohamed Saddick (Independent), Michael Ghamraoui, Michael Tadros (Liberal), Le Lam & Minh Hua (Unity) Voted against: Cr Irene Simms (RAGAA), Chris Cassidy, Pat Curtin, Robert Murray & Barbara Perry (Labor) Our concerns include: flats limited to 3 storeys in height; 1/2 the flats do not meet council’s minimum size requirements; exceeds council’s floor space ratio; U shaped buildings with the ends close to each other, detrimental impact on streetscape; recommended for refusal by town planners NB: New D/A 342/03 for 6 storeys and 34 units lodged mid 2003
