  • DA309/10 is for 148 units in 4-8 storeys above 2 levels of basement carparking 31 x 1b/room; 110 x 2b/room; 7 x 3 b/room. Approved by JRPP Nov 2011
  • DA310/10 is for 154 units in 4-8 storeys above 2 levels of basement carparking (227 spaces) 35 x 1b/room; 112 x 2b/room; 7 x 3b/room
  • DA311/10 is for 174 units in 4-8 storeys above 2 levels of basement carparking (235 spaces) 27 x 1b/room; 140 x 2b/room; 7 x 3b/room
Our concerns include: Comments sent to JRPP by our Councillor, Irene Simms, noting particular concern re the number of apartments which do not have cross-ventilation; the percentage of single aspect, south facing units; the high number of units which do not achieve the minimum 2 hours of solar access and the excessive building depth.

Comment: These sites are also the subject of a further application to the NSW Govt as a part 3a application. This application has been lodged on behalf of several developers/owners in the Wentworth Point area. It includes a proposal to build a pedestrian/cycle bridge fom Wentworth Point across to Rhodes.
